Preparation and Usage
1. Carefully pierce the perforated area at the side of the bait box with a pointed object (scissors, screw driver etc) to create entry / exit holes for the ants.
2. Place the bait in the vicinity of ant nests or where ants pass regularly - along walls and base boards, in corners, under sinks, inside cabinets.
3. Place ONLY in position inaccessible to children and pets.
4. For maximum efficacy, check the bait regularly and replace every month if necessary.
5. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.
6. Retain outer carton for full use and safety instructions.
7. The product should only be used in areas that are not liable to submersion or becoming wet, i.e. protected from rain, floods and cleaning water.
Insecticides (PT18) only to be used as an insecticide for the control of black garden ants indoors in living areas and sleeping quarters and outdoors on terraces and balconies.

Raid Ant Bait works around the clock to provide effective control indoors or outside on patios/terraces. The bait is carried back to the nest by the worker ants and effectively kills the entire colony, including larvae and the queen ant. The bait continues to work for several weeks depending on the level of infestation. For large infestations and maximum efficacy, use several baits simultaneously.

Really works
Very effective, pretty much eradicated the problem the second night we had this out
First thing that\x27s worked
We've had problems with ants in our living room for the last 3 weeks - they've been coming up between the carpet and the skirting half way along the room. We couldn't find where they were coming in, so had to tackle them once inside. We've tried Dethlac spray, diamataceous earth and some blue sugar-coated crystals. Nothing had completely sorted it and they kept coming. Then, we put one of these down in their path mid-afternoon. An hour later, hundreds of ants were streaming back and forth to it (which also exposed their entrance place). They were still busy when we went to bed. Next morning - nothing. And nothing on the patio outside either. It's been brilliant.
Works quickly
The product is a solid metal puck, with oval marks on the side where it's to be cut open. It was not easy. I ended up stabbing the holes with pointy scissors. I'd seen a couple of dozen ants in the kitchen. Once they saw the trap they were all over it, in processions two and three ants wide, crawling in and out like there was no tomorrow. They didn't seem to mind the sharp, rough edges. A few hours later: no ants to be seen. Only four stars because the packaging is so awkward.
Quickly effective
Used this where a procession of ants were crossing our front step to nest in the wall - they were noticeably reduced by the next day, and gone completely a few days later. Impressively effective product.
Seem to work
I put one of these in the corner of a room which is a potential entry point for the little loves at the beginning of summer. Seems to work as they dont cross the line into the house & stay busy in the garden.
