Espresso beans, waste of space

Well tasted horrible in my bean to cup machine. Weird aftertaste. No wonder they were half price!

Weak and flavourless

I purchased this when half price - but that was still too much - perhaps this was a poor batch being sold cheap? When ground it is very pale, and gives a weak and unpleasant flavour. Not sure what to do with the 980g still left! Back to Ocado own blend 1kg espresso beans which are much better value and make a good coffee.

Not to my taste

It's a pity I bought such a huge bag, when I really don't like it. From the tasting notes it sounded just my affair, but in practice it tastes acidic and green and makes the milk taste off.

Good espresso

I took a chance on this as I'm not a fan of their Kenya coffee beans. It has great flavours and nice clean taste. Not as rich as Lavazza espresso but found I actually prefer this in the morning. I found the Kenya beans lacking something and wonder if it's because they are washed? This is a blend of 2 types of natural beans and one washed variety.
