A Great Cup of Coffee for You and The Environment!
We make our one cup filters from bagasse, the natural sugar cane fibres left after extracting the sugar. The fibres are collected, processed and used to make the filters. Once used, the filters can be home composted or disposed of with your food waste.
Rombouts works with many coffee farmers around the globe, ensuring that we select only the finest quality beans.
Enjoy Quality Coffee at Home, in The Office and Away!
We roast our Italian Style a little darker to intensify its rich flavours and aromas. Powerful with a rich, smooth finish. Perfect on its own or add a dash of milk to enhance the dark chocolate & biscuit notes.

Great to take on cruises
I always take a couple of boxes of these when I go on cruises. Although these coffee filters are nowhere as tasty as freshly ground beans, they're not only easy to bring with but produce a much better cup than the regular coffee they serve on board.
Useless
These latest biodegradable filters are useless. The water soaks through the sides of the container well before the water has had chance to go down throgh the coffee. This leaves a puddle on the work surface and stronger but less coffee. Utterly useless. If this is the price of saving the planet, Rombouts will go bust soon. Marks and Spencer have a much better biodegradable solution.
Why the change?!
When these first changed over to fully biodegradable they were absolutely fine but something seems to have changed again and there are several problems. Firstly the coffee takes an eternity to filter through now so goes cold in the process and secondly the whole filter appears to become soaked in water so leaks down the side of the mug. Sad to say after years of buying these but wont be buying again.
Fabulous!
Environmentally friendlier proper coffee for billy no mates!!! Top job!
the M&S knock off is much better
The coffee doesnt taste very good and prefer the original taste. The filter often break when you pour hot water on it. That doesnt happen with the M&S one as I feel theyre slightly better designed.
good coffee
Nice coffee, its smooth but you can taste the notes of bitterness - very slightly. I dont mind that in this small degree. Overall good
