Brand
In 1938, our founder Tony Rowse started beekeeping in a small shed in Ewelme, Oxfordshire as a hobby and he loved it so much he formed the Rowse Honey company. Before long, Tony was sourcing honey from beekeepers all over the UK, then from all over the world. In the 1980s, we had grown so big we moved to Wallingford, Oxfordshire (close to Ewelme) and Tony handed over the reins to his son Richard. Years later, we are very proud to be the nation's favourite honey!

Poor excuse for honey
Terrible, runny almost watery! No flavour at all!!! Very, very bad quality. Will never buy again.
perpetuating the con
Manuka honey has medical benefets when used topically. When eaten, the body breaks down all the MGO and as a food it is no healthier than any other honey; in fact a good organic local honey would be superior. Its time to stop perpetrating this myth and ripping of customers with eye wateringly expensive "healthier" honey...unless youre using as a medical dressing!
Excellent honey
It would be wrong to mark this any less than 5 stars. It tastes good, is in a easy to use sqeezy bottle, and is good value for money.
Really tasty
This is our favourite every day honey, we use it as a sugar substitute for the children and they love it.
Affordable and tasty
Tastes nice, blended with Manuka at an affordable price. Lovely with plain yoghurt or as a sore throat remedy with hot milk and turmeric. Its going to be a regular for me.
Floral and gorgeous
I gave this a go after trying other Manuka honeys. Its flavour doesn't disappoint-- it is indulgently sweet, floral and complex and every bit as good as more expensive Manukas. Granted, it is not pure Manuka honey, but if the taste is your priority this is really good value. And the squeezy bottle is a boon-- less than a teaspoonful makes a bowl of porridge sublime.
