Rude Health Organic Ultimate Almond Longlife 1L
£3.30
£3.30 per litreProduct information
Italian almonds are drenched in sun and drenched in rain. That's why they're so delicious, and so sustainable.
If you grow almands somewhere dry
*cough* California *cough*, it hurts the flavour and the planet.
Almonds, Pure and Simple
We take lightly roasted Italian almonds and blend with water. And that's it.
Subtle and creamy, it's the ultimate for a reason. Pour over cereal, whizz into a smoothie or glug straight from the glass.
Rude for life
Good food and drink should rock your world.
It should tantalise your taste buds and put a spring in your step. That's what we believed when we started mixing cereals in our kitchen in 2005, when we created gobsmacking dairy-free drinks in 2013, and it's still true today. Live rude!
We didn't make this drink organic because we're hippies. It's because we're foodies.
So we like to source ingredients from farms where they don't dose their crops with chemical insecticides or artificial fertiliser. It turns out that wildlife prefers organic farms too. Win-win.
You're in rude health when... you float your own boat.

No salt - awesome!
As others observed, just almonds & water will disappoint if you want a product that behaves like milk. Yes, this is thin, it's not creamy & it's expensive (& Rude Health made some very anti-vegan comments some years ago) but it is a magnificent 2 ingredient product. I've been diagnosed with an autoimmune kidney disease, so my new obsession is the salt/sodium content in everything. Recommended maximum sodium intake is 1500mg/day or 3.75g salt - just over half a teaspoon. 0.5l of almond milk for a smoothie made with Plenish (organic & unsweetened) is 0.5g of salt or 13% of a daily allowance it's nothing with this. I do prefer the taste of Plenish, but I mostly use this product. I love that this is available.
used to be good but bitter now!
This used to be my favourite almond milk but recent purchases have been very bitter! QA on the almonds used please?
Why not Spring Water ?
For a product at this price point & organic, should be using high quality water - given the very high % of water ! Not good enough.
separates on use with tea, terrible flavour
I’m lactose intolerant, I buy this companies product frequently. best before date is 6 days from now, even though recently purchased. Taste is rancid. Disgusting.
Too expensive
Nice that it doesn't have any of additives that some of the other brands have, but £3.30 for one carton is ridiculous!
disappointing
Bitter, wont buy again.
