Lovely
Not quite as much of a kick as Id like, but its my new favourite of the Sacla pestos. The jar is tiny though - could easily go through a whole jar in a family meal.
nice but not as good as the real thing
I used half a jar of this in some pasta, I could taste it, but it wasnt a particularly strong flavour. Ideally I shouldve used. The whole jar . I also tried it with some cheese on toast which was very nice. Its not as good as the real thing, but its a good substitute.
Lovely
We love this with our pasta and its not too fiery. I note some ppl like it hot and this is not but there is a mild spice to it. We love it
Get the Fiery Chilli pesto instead!
If you're hoping for a chilli kick with this, you will be disappointed. Not only is this a tiny jar, it doesn't have nearly as much flavour as the Fiery Chilli pesto and you can't even really tell that it is "meaty".
Very small jar
This was absolutely delicious with a great spicy kick of nduja, but do read the listing carefully, unlike me - its in a miniscule jar, not enough to feed three people adequately as the normal size (double this) more than does. Managed to make it work with a lot of grated grana padano, but be careful!
spicier red pesto
Appreciated the hint of nduja, not overpowering but unique tasting and reminiscent of Italy.
