oh my! what a way to elevate a dish

This is something special to use as a finishing salt. I had this when younger and remembered it and so hoped this was what I thought it was and it is! Not for cooking with but to just bring out the flavours by adding on top. This will a permanent feature in my growing salt collection.

Wonderful sprinkled on room temperature quality tomatoes topped with a big ball of burrata and basil.

Favourite of all time

Been using for many years. So glad Ocado stock it. Makes food taste 1000x better. Way better than the other famous English brand.

expensive, but..

I first bought this on sale, but its lovely. I dont use it much in cooking, but more on the finished dish or salads. Try it on some good quality tomatoeshappiness on the plate.

Fabulous for fresh/cooked food

I usually have used good quality fresh ground rock salt for all cooking. Saw a chef on tv use this, & decided to try despite the off putting price. Glad I did! You only need a small pinch to completely elevate salad (particularly toms/cucumber/radish), eggs, or cooked meal. Definitely not for the cooking pot I would suggest...too good. Taste? It is impossible to describe. I put a couple of crystals on my tongue.. then i knew why...just wow! Reccomended. A little goes a long way too.

my second favourite

Bought some reduced black salt from elsewhere which was discontinued as so expensive and this got me experimenting as it was superb. This one comes a very close second. Youd think salt was salt but once youve tasted this .!
