very good
Very good nice taste
Beware the very high salt content.
This describes itself as a 'balanced blend'. That obviously involves packing it with 14% salt. I've used many different curry powders before and never seen such a high salt content. Many have no salt and others a much lower content. My fault for not checking out the ingredients first. If you like your food very salty then go for it but if you're aware of the health issues then avoid.
Fantastic Colour
I rely on this to make my curry more authentic, it’s always a winner
Cupboard Staple!
I always make sure I have a good curry powder in my cupboard and this one is a great quality option. I much prefer this to others i've tried. It adds a little heat and warmth but without being too spicy, and has a really lovely flavour. I find it perfect for adding to curries, kebabs and sauces!
Flavourful but Plastic
This curry powder is described as mild with a strength of 2 out of 4 chilli’s, on their scale. I quite like that they give a level of spice as I am someone who would always go for the mild option. It’s got a nice mix of different flavours, so it definitely only needs a sprinkle for that added kick. It’s a large sized bottle which is good for the price, but I don’t love that it doesn’t fit in my spice rack. It looks rather big for my OCD. It’s also a plastic bottle rather than glass, which makes it less durable and not quite as cleaning friendly, as it can’t just be sprayed and wiped down.
Good flavour
I usually buy a jar of curry sauce as sometimes curry powder can be a bit bland. However this has good flavour and is excellent value as I'll get many meals from it.
