Preparation and Usage
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 red pepper, cut into chunks
- 8 skinless, boneless chicken thighs, cut into thirds
- 400g tin chopped tomatoes
- 2 tbs tomato purée
- 50ml double cream
Easy as 1, 2, 3...
1 Place onion, pepper and chicken into your slow cooker pot. Mix seasoning with chopped tomatoes and tomato purée, add to slow cooker pot and stir through.
2 Cover and cook for up to 4 hours on High or up to 8 hours on Low, or until the meat is tender and cooked through. (Keep covered during cooking. Slow cookers vary. Directions based on a 3.5 litre.)
3 Remove lid, stir cream through and stand for 5 mins before serving.
Try Something Different: Replace the chicken thighs with breasts or diced lamb. If you have time, try browning off the meat in a frying pan before adding to the slow cooker. Serve with basmati rice and naan bread.

not nice at all
Very very bland, no spice, just like chicken tomato casserole tbh, whole family said horrible. So dissapointed
Lacked flavour
The general consensus from the family was that this lacked flavour and was rather bland. I thought it was enjoyable but definitely not as spicy as a tikka masala should be.
brilliant!
I've just made this for tonight - threw in some chopped veg & lentils to bulk it out & served with rice & roti. It was really easy to prep & absolutely delicious.
Husband Loved It
Having not used my slow cooker in ages I thought I'd give these a try. The other half loves curry but I rarely make it. This is a great way of quickly prepping in the morning then returning home to a creamy curry sauce (once you have added the cream at the end stage). I suggest throwing in more veg though to bulk it out. Makes a nicely flavoured mild curry with soft chicken pieces.

Very pleasantly surprised by this. Super easy to make, low heat 8 hours or high for 4. The whole family enjoyed it and Id definitely make it again
quick and easy
Really tasty, I used a mixture of chickpeas and quorn pieces instead of the chicken to make it vegetarian. Left it to cook for 5 1/2 hours and it came out perfect. So easy would buy again.
