Lacking flavour and punch
So bland. I don't want everything I eat to blast my mouth off - but really this was just too bland. Tried it on some chicken portions - could hardly taste it. Tried it again with some potato wedges in an air fryer - could hardly detect it. Needs to be a bit stronger on the flavour front - currently way too subtle.
A good, different seasoning
We don't think it's an authentic KFC flavour but as another customer indicated - it's a pleasant alternative to everyday seasonings. There's a bit of heat in the aftertaste so chilli haters may not like it.
great seasoning
this has a great flavour but it is definitely a seasoning rather than a coating. if you are hoping to recreate KFC this won't do it alone. I used half the pot on 4 chicken leg with thigh portions so equivalent of maybe 8 pieces. to make this more of a coating you would need to mix it with flour or something similar but I think you would need to use a lot of seasoning to keep the flavour. I might or might not try that but I will certainly buy this again to use as a seasoning as is.
