Gave me a headache
The candle smelled lovely when I opened the jar and lavender is my favourite scent. However, as soon as I lit the candle there was an overwhelming chemical undertone to the smell that gave me a headache. I tried burning it in several different places around the house and the effect was the same. On one day it even left me feeling nauseous so I regretfully decided not to light it again. So disappointing as it was very expensive and I bought it as a treat for myself. Not going to buy from this company again.
Smells incredible
After buying this candle, I am now planning on buying a candle for each room. Smells amazing and very soothing
Disappointing
Bought this one to use for my bath evening rituals. I use Weleda lavender bath milk and the bathroom smells amazing. Since starting to put this candle on in addition, the room smells like a burned wick when I come in. I can’t even smell the lavender from the water anymore, not to mention the candle. I’ve tried several times now with different burning times and also in different rooms. Even my husband, who doesn’t usually notice my essential oils, pointed out that this smells burnt. Very disappointed for the waste of money.
The BEST candles out there
These candles are amazing both in terms of fragrance, burn time and their ability to fill a room with scent. Topped off with how ethical the Self Care Co is makes them the only candles I will buy now. I am used to spending a lot of money on candles so delighted to see them stocked at Ocado now so I can add them to my shop. Lavender and Orange is my fav as its very calming and soothing. If you haven’t tried one, don’t hesitate you won’t regret it.

ONE of my fave brands from a brilliant founder Nicole who is wonderful and such an inspiration....I usually buy DAYLESFORD & DIPTYQUE but this brand are up there with those guys....but better I think !!! BEST FRAGRANCES...
