Preparation and Usage
Add:
- 400g Chicken Breast (thinly sliced)
- 2-3 Sliced Spring Onions
- A handful of Sliced Mushrooms
- A handful of Bean Sprouts
Cook:
1 Simply stir-fry the chicken in a little oil over a high heat for 4-5 minutes until browned.
2 Add the vegetables and fry for a further 2 minutes, stirring often.
3 Add the Sharwood's Chow Mein Sauce and stir through for 1 minute.
Ensure food is thoroughly cooked and piping hot before serving.
Serve up with a steaming bowl of Sharwood's Medium Egg Noodles. Forks (or chopsticks) at the ready!

Not pleasant
I usually make my own sauce, but looking at reviews, thought I'd try this. It was like no Chow mein I'd ever tasted, really not nice. I wouldn't ever buy again.
Quite bland...
I had hoped this would be nice especially with less sugar but sadly it was actually tasteless/bland. As someone had said it smells nice when cooking but the taste just isn't there so won't be buying again.
Nice enough
I have had this a few times and every time I find myself thinking, that was okay. I cant really be much more positive than that, it lacks any real flavour and is a little bland. I find that plenty of soy sauce is necessary to get any real flavour from it
Tasteless
I was excited to try this as the reviews were good and the fact it has less sugar, but it was completely tasteless despite smelling good whilst cooking.
quick tasty dinner
Good sauce for a quick stir fry on those busy days, the lower sugar content wasn't noticeable in the flavour which is a bonus
