better results
slightly more expensive than the other major brand but definitely superior quality, more powdery thus make better frosting (less gritty) and cake topping. Will stick to this brand.
British grown from sugar beets
Sugar beets are detrimental to your health (Gmo) and to the environment. Stick to non Gmo sugar cane.
So glad they stock this
In my opinion the best icing sugar there is no lumps at all and working with it is so easy
British Sugar!
Excellent icing sugar, and made in UK from sugar grown by British farmers!
pleasantly surprised
I didnt think there could be a lot to say about icing sugar, but I ordered this as Tate & Lyle was out of stock and was pleasantly surprised how un-lumpy this was compared with the other brand. I did sieve it, but it took a moment, with T&L I usually have to stand there scraping the clumps through the sieve. Will be buying this one in future.
It's icing sugar
Does the job, as you'd hope, but I prefer Whitworths - finer and doesn't clump.
