Tasty
I was sent this by Ocado to review. We enjoyed these but were on the dry side, so an accompanying sauce is good.
Tasty mix
I was sent this free to review. This mix made a quick and easy veggie option for dinner that even the fussy meat eaters enjoyed!
Why do they need sugar in them?
I'm reviewing this because Ocado gave me a free sample in return for a review. Easy to make. Average taste - edible, but not delicious. A cross between a bhaji, falafel and stuffing ball. Unnecessary ingredients - dextrose anyone? Would rather they were more expensive but didn't contain sugar...
Pleasant flavour
I'm reviewing this because Ocado sent me a free sample. This isn't a product I would buy but trying it is OK. The portion of dry ingredients is quite generous and very easy to make up into what I can only describe as something similar to packet stuffing in flavour. My husband was not keen so I would not buy again but I have recommended to my vegetarian friend. Handy to keep in the cupboard if you like it or for the unexpected vegetarian guest.
Meh...
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Its ok but very dry - need a lot of "encouragement" to eat this again...
Not bad
I was given a free sample from Ocado if I agreed to review: TASTE: nice. QUANTITY: four medium burgers. ECO: vegan usually means low carbon footprint, outer packaging cardboard box, inner plastic packet - manufacturer could swap for tough paper like a bag of sugar? they are after all dry ingredients... Buying food in small quantities means more plastic per g of food so I'd normally make my own... Could turn off oven for the last few minutes to save energy (could say this on packet?) Also product might withstand not preheating oven? Not really a worry if it's winter and the heat is just going into the house though. TIPS: Cook thinner than recommended 2cm to avoid sludge. INGREDIENTS: quite a few, including some artificial sounding. Lots of nice ones too though. Thanks for the freebie, Ocado! (And please stop delivering the shopping in plastic bags.)
