Smells disgusting and tastes disgusting. There is no similarity to Pastrami whatsoever.

Definitely the best "meat style" slices I've had so far. They're so flavourful, the texture is perfect, if you didn't see the packet beforehand you would absolutely think this was meat. these are my go-to sandwich filling from now on.
Best vegan slices after Tofurkey
Our kids love two things on their sandwich: Quorn Vegan Ham style slices or this Squeaky Bean pastrami. Us adults prefer the pastrami any time and can eat them straight from the pack, one slice after another. Or wrap them around a pickled cucumber, very naughty! They have a lovely texture and pleasant taste, slight note of beetroot. Naturli spread and Violife Cheddarton go well with it or vegan cream cheese. Well done Squeaky Bean, keep making them!!
An Impressed Meat Eater!
Im a meat eater but becoming more conscious of processed sandwich meats not being that healthy. Just thought Id try this , and I must say Im really impressed. More protein & fibre than beef pastrami, less saturated fats and no nasty nitrates/nitrites. Most importantly the texture and flavour are really quite good in a sandwich.
