It's not hot and spicy
It's not a bad bbq sauce, but I didn't notice any spice due to the sweetness. It is also extremely thick and hard to get out of the bottle even after shaking hard and long.
Tastes great but it’s not remotely spicy
I love spicy things, but admittedly I am very poor at handling heat. A Nandos medium spice can make me sweat, so keep that in mind. I kind of ignored all the other reviews saying it’s not spicy, thinking that maybe these other reviewers just had a high tolerance for spice or something. Nope. They were right. There is not even a slight kick in this sauce. It tastes exactly like McD’s regular BBQ dip. It is a very tasty sweet BBQ sauce, but it is not what it says on the bottle!
Not spicy at all
This is a well made BBQ sauce, but any claim to being spicy is a total lie. The sweetness totally drowns the tiny (2%) amount of chilli in it.
Bottle's a pain
Alright sauce, I wouldn't call it "hot", maybe "mildly tingly", but decently BBQy. The bottle is a nightmare though: you're supposed to refrigerate once opened, but as soon as you do it goes too thick to get out except with a knife. Might be aright if you're planning to use the whole bottle in a couple of days, but we'll try a squeezy bottle from the same brand.
not hot or spicy
No heat which was disappointing as bought it based on being hot and spicy. Almost impossible to get out of the glass bottle - have to poke a knife in.
