Street Kitchen Chinese Kung Pao 255g
Product information
There's a story to the Kung Pao. Right. Like there's always a story, and depending on who's telling it you may want to find out more. At its essence is a simple dish of chicken, chillies and nuts tossed through a sauce so deeply delicious that it has grown beyond its 19th Century Sichuan roots and the Qing Dynasty official who graces its name.
Like any story there are variations and embellishments, and haggling over whose is truly the best. So if you can't beat them you should join them and make the Kung Pao story your own. All we suggest is that you start with your favourite ingredients and cook with joy!

very tasty and easy
I really liked this as it was a good taste and very easy to use.
lovely sweet spice
This was really nice. I cooked it with chilli oil as we like ours spicy, spring onion and peas and sweetcorn. Will definitely be buying again.
Liked this a lot
Didn't really know what to expect as I have only used Spice Tailor ,which are a hard act to follow. Added chicken, red pepper, mushrooms and spring onions. Served with cashews and rice. We thoroughly enjoyed this. Easy to make and a nice change. It is not very spicy, as others have said, but I liked the sauce. Handy to have in the cupboard.
Surprising
This doesn't taste like any Kung Pao I've had before, but I did enjoy it and I would buy it again.
Not authentic
Tasty, savoury and spicy, but definitely not a kung pao, think like another reviewer said more like brown sauce.
brown.
looks and Tastes like watered-down Daddies. Didn't think this was nice at all.
