That's Hus. We asked him 2 years ago if he and his team could please make the most realistic plant- based bacon in the world. It had to be waaay lower in fat than pork, indistinguishable from bacon and not crazy expensive. At first he laughed, and then he mostly just looked like that.

Surprisingly good

As a non vegan I decided to try this as I found it on a flash sale. I was very surprised to find its texture and flavour were extremely close to bacon. Only giving 4 stars as its bit awkward to cook without it sticking together and extract intact from its packaging. Definitely worth trying though.

Closest thing to crispy bacon

If you dont like crispy bacon, this is not for you! Since turning veggie 8 years ago, all the bacon Ive tried taste like bacon crisps and doesnt get crispy. This is the opposite, really good. Makes a great sandwich! Grateful to find a product that makes veggie life a little easier.

Actually close to bacon

I am not vegan, I just avoid bacon due to the unhealthiness (even though it's delicious), and on a whim thought I'd try this. When I took it out of the package, it amusingly looked like how a toddler would draw bacon. But the taste was so good. Smelled and tasted like bacon!

great but tricky to work with

Love this for the texture and flavour. The fat / gristle in particular fries really well. The only downside is that it is quite fragile and can easily break apart when transferring from the package to the pan. I find it easiest to freeze. That way it comes off as solid strips which are much easier to handle. Love this product though.

delicious crispiness

Just a great addition to a sandwich as it adds a brilliant texture and the flavour is perfect! Would be a regular addition if it was at a lower price point.

Honestly Im traumatised for life!!! The taste & texture made me gag!! Sooorry but this is a no for me!!
