Basil Tofu
Does what it says on the tin. Fried v nicely and strong but nice taste of basil. Bought in flash sale which made this manageable
Lovely tasting Tofu
Always buy this brand if I can especially as its organic. Great quality and taste. So handy for a healthy snack just chopped into cubes and eaten cold or warm but then warmed and mixed with rice & salad for lunch. Cant go wrong!
what a nice change
Usually Im happy to marinate plain tofu but was curious to try this mainly from reading the other reviews. I wasnt convinced Basil and tofu would be a good combination but I just griddled slices of this with a grain salad with roasted veggies and cant believe how delicious it was. Full of flavour, firm texture and quick to cook. Even my teenagers enjoyed it. Will be a regular purchase from now on.
easy and convenient
I crumble this up and quick fry when we need a quick meal. It has a lovely basil pesto flavour. A bit pricey and not a fan of it being in plastic but all tofu seems to be this way.
Good, but not £5 good
My partner loves this and we've bought it regularly for years, but it's not worth 5 pounds a pack.
Remarkably good
Never thought I’d write a review of tofu. This was delicious sautéed in a little, oil added to pasta with some flat leaf parsley and Parmesan and a wonderful, quick dinner. Recommended.
