Lovely, but too expensive.
These are really nice, lovely texture and taste just like a hotdog to us, however they are extremely expensive and can only afford them when on offer.
Prefer other brand
Tivall much better please restock!
Inedible
Got these as Tivall hot dogs no longer stocked on Ocado. Quailed at the price but reading the positive reviews I thought would try as a treat. Absolutely gutted, they were tasteless mush even smothered in ketchup and mustard. Went in the bin after a few bites. Will def NOT be purchasing again. Please bring back Tivall !!!
Nice in a casserole
I bought these for the first time a couple of weeks ago specifically to make a hotdog and bean casserole (sweetcorn, mixed beans, chopped toms, herbs etc) and they were the perfect addition (remained firm when chopped into chunks and simmered in a saucepan with the other ingredients and added a subtle, smoky taste). Even on offer (£4.93) I had to think twice before purchasing due to the cost but they were much nicer than other veggie hotdogs I have tried, so worth it in the end.
Used to like them but ingredients not great
I used to like these. The consistency and taste is pretty decent. But the ingredients are really unhealthy.
Terrible aftertaste
These give me a terrible aftertaste. The texture is too soft. Also, the full price is too expensive. I won't buy again.
