High quality matcha
This is expensive but so good! My best matcha in the UK so far.
Madly expensive but worth it
I didn’t want to like this matcha but after trying literally every brand Ocado sell , I’ve come to the conclusion this is by far the best tasting of the lot . Tea Pigs doesn’t even come close . Taiki is really smooth and well balanced ,and not as bitter as many matches also it dissolves better than other brands though I do use a bamboo match whisk . Despite the high cost I continue to repurchase as I don’t drink coffee or regular black tea so can justify the expense , however if you’re intending to bake with it or add to smoothies I think using the Clearspring is fine .
Excellent
Used it to make matcha ice cream. Heavenly indulgence.
Best matcha in UK - just like in Japan
Had a matcha in Shoreditch Grind and it was amazing so asked what it was and was told about Taiki Tea - ordered some to make at home and it was just as great. Not bitter like loads of other matchas you can buy and doesn't have any yucky sweetners or mint additives like the matcha in Starbucks - this is the real deal like in Japan.
