Better than my old baster
Better than my last purchase of a baster -- which has been years. Sucks up three times as much liquid as last baster I used. And I was using it on venison juices that had just come out of the oven, It is sold with a cleaning brush which fits the interior shape of the baster and cleans is properly all the way to its tip. Very pleased indeed.
Rubbish.
I used it once to baste a goose. It melted. It was roasting on a regular 180oC heat - normal for meat you would have to baste. Given it's a "baster" you would think you could baste with it. You don't baste ice cream or corn flakes. I say this baster should be taken off the market as it is not what it says it is. If you cannot baste a bird while it's cooking at a regular temperature, it's not a baster.
