Misleading
The label implies this is half sugar and half Stevia, hence half the calories. But in reality the 50/50 branding means you MIGHT want to use less because it tastes sweeter. I still end up using 2 teaspoons - which is 100% the same calories as 2 regular teaspoons.
Not for me
Sorry, it may be healthier but it just didn't taste right for me in my coffee, which is pretty much all I use it for.
Good taste
I'm reviewing this because Ocado sent me a free sample. First of all, I can take or leave adding sugar to things, and can't stand artificial sweeteners. This product however, is ok. It tastes like Demerara so that's good. I find that Stevia is a different kind of sweetness to sugar, but it's still more pleasant than artificial sweeteners, and I love that stevia is a natural product. If I wanted to cut down on sugar but still sweeten my food or drinks then I would choose this.
Tate and Lyle demerara stevia
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Works well as sugar substitute in hot drinks and porridge.
Nice in coffee
I'm reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Tastes fine with coffee and is a good substitute for sugar.
good for tea and porridge - not baking
Tried in baking and became very gritty tasty - fine for drinks and porridge sprinkle though
