Tough, ruins the dish

Tough and in edible, like having toenails in your meal.

Not good

I love lemongrass, but I guess in the water, you lose all the flavor but none of the toughness.

Quickly goes off

It's handy having softer, more usable lemongrass for cooking, but this goes off (and goes mouldy) very quickly, despite being kept in the fridge. I wish Ocado would offer a lemongrass paste, but without oil, as I can't have oil in these things.

Tough and tasteless.

Chopped half a bottle up on recommendation from the other reviewers who found these tough. Couldnt taste anything. Added the rest of the bottle and tried some on its own. Nothing. No flavour of lemongrass at all. And from the texture, I may as well have boiled my own toenail clippings and added them to the dish. Probably wouldve had more flavour! Just buy fresh.

Best finely chopped

Lovely flavour but, as a previous review says, we found it tough. Next time I used it I finely chopped it and it was much better with a really nice flavour.
