Purple Porridge!
Purple Berry porridge. I had to add banana and blueberries to get this to taste even remotely as advertised. Quick to make though. The fruit/seeds included in ingredients make it more wholesome but it isnt fortified. It is gloopy but I like that, others may not. I prefer the chocolate version.
gloop
If you are used to typical instant porridge, this is a bit of a deviation. The colour is one thing that puts you off as soon as you put hot water/milk in (like a brown gone-off smoothie) the texture is more grainy like a granola or muesli than a creamy porridge. A bit disappointing.
yum
I always make my own porridge. I made this with coconut milk and found it really yummy and easy to prepare and easier to digest than regular porridge. Will definitely buy more and have as warm easy brekkie
Tasteless
Sorry but I found this awful! No taste to speak of and certainly not sweet enough despite using dates in the recipe. Tried one bowl and then threw the rest out.
Not bad at all
Despite some of the more negative reviews, I actually quite like this porridge, I didn’t have issues with mixing and I didn’t encounter any lumpiness. If you are expecting something more like oat so simple, this is not for you, it isn’t sugary and is purple but it is extremely quick and easy to prepare, without the need for a saucepan or microwave and tastes nice and clean. If you have a sweet tooth a spoonful of honey may make it more palatable for some. More chunks of banana would be good!
Where\x27s the fruit?
Absence of blueberries and have never noticed the bananas. Not gluten free any longer. Disappointing.
