weird flavour

Saw the reviews on this so thought I would try it. I added some cooked chicken but the flavour was odd and actually unpleasant. definitely would not purchase again.

Not for me

My daal standards are very high so i probably shouldn't have bought this. Couldn't eat it. My kitchen really smells of garlic now!

Delicious

I've tried loads of the Spice Tailor curry sauces, and wasn't sure what to expect from the daal. This was amazing, much nicer than the curry sauces, which are generally quite good. I added chicken to this and it made a lovely meal. Didn't find it spicy in the slightest, I'd be happy with more heat.

very tasty

got this on offer. better than expected. put some left over roast chicken and made tasty curry for 2. the only criticism is a little salty hence taken off 1 star. I would definitely buy it again.

Delicious and nutritious

Great level of spice, so quick and easy to make. I love that its not a lentil dal but made with peas and beans (pigeon and mung) instead, giving my diet more variety and a nutrient boost. I also like the non-spicy version. Only thing I would say is that one pack might not fill two very hungry people. I double up if necessary and save leftovers for next day.
