Searching for a Pataks alternative...
...and I'm still searching. This is ok and for some, it'll suffice, but it is still very average...
absolutely beautiful
So tasty, very mild, perfect for a lovely family meal that everyone loves. Plates were all licked clean
A convenient quick tikka masala
This is great for whipping up a quick meal or if you want to meal prep for the week. It loses one star as it isn't the best tikka masala I've ever had.
Wouldn\x27t buy again
We used this in a slow cooker veg curry, and the result was not to our liking, obviously it's personal preference but it's not one we'd buy again.
Good
Used to marinate chicken thighs for kebabs. Tasty.
bitter, grainy and unusual
The spices were coarsely ground giving an unpleasant grainy texture, whole spices or finely ground would have been much nicer. The flavour was slightly bitter and unlike any tikka masala I have ever tried. One out of three of us managed to eat it. A waste of time and ingredients. Unfortunately Ocados refund option had expired before I tried it.
