Very health cat food
All natural ingredients. Real pieces of chicken. My kitten loves it. I like the fact that there is not a huge amount of fat as our kitten is now neutered. However at such a price, he only has this one once a week.
Changed for worse
My fussy kitten very happy with this when it was very clean looking shredded chicken...has now changed to a sloppy grey looking mess and now she won't touch it. Price has gone up significantly with this change...feels very unacceptable....price up and quality way down.
Used to be much better
My kittens initially gobbled this up, then we received a few batches that were distinctly different. It used to be be tender little torn pieces of chicken breast, in a lovely chicken stock, but more recently it was very dry, with the chicken pieces resembling tough little bits of stringy meat which was quite unpalatable. Ultimately, the proof is in the pudding and the kittens refused to eat it. Thrive is great when you get a good batch, but I’ve noticed that even with other flavours (notably ocean fish) the tins can either be full of perfectly flaked fishy morsels, or can be tins full of mushy slop with no consistency whatsoever. Frustrating quality control?
Lovely
Kitten loves this
Good enough to eat!
I have used Thrive treats for years, so was excited to discover they make a food too. When I first opened the can, I honestly started to salivate - it looks like real chicken and it smells good enough to eat. My cat loves it (more importantly), and I'm happy that I'm feeding him top quality, pure meat.
The only wet food my kitten will eat
I've tried many brands - Hills, Royal Canin, Lily's, Edgar.. he won't touch them but this?? He gobbles it up like no tomorrow! Will need to use it as treat as it's quite expensive but glad to have found something that my kitten enjoys.
