Product information

Red currants are brought to the boil and simmered for 10 minutes. The juice and fruit is then pumped into our fruit press where it is squeezed to extract the maximum amount of juice from the fruit. This distinctive jelly is perfect to accompany roast lamb but also makes a delicious addition to all gravies. This jelly has a sweet intense flavour.

Disappointing - no character

Hoped for some of that lovely taste and slight acidity of the fresh fruit - but no not a hint of it. Just a tastless over-sweet jelly. Nothing could have less character.

A great tasting red current jelly

Bought this for the first time last year and have been buying it ever since, a great flavour and a very good acompanyment to roast lamb and at a good price.

Definitely the best red currant jelly for lamb and pates.

The one

Now this is proper redcurrant jelly as it should be! Sweet, rich and actually jelly, not sauce or paste or jam like others. Amazing with a roast or in a peanut butter sandwich. Love it, will stick with this one for life.
