Trivento Golden Reserve Malbec is a legacy of traditions passed down from generation to generation; and expresses the passions of everyone involved in the vineyards labours. Hand-selected grapes are then transformed into a concentrated garnet-red wine whose lively red fruit aromas and silky tannins make way for a flood of sensations on the palate.

History
Trivento Golden Reserve is rooted in the legacy of traditions, passed from generation to generation. Founded in 1996, Trivento Bodegas y Viñedos has created an ample portfolio of wines distinguished for preserving the character of the Mendozan terroir. A consistent award winner, recognised at international contests and within the wine industry publication alike.
Regional Information
Luján de Cuyo is the most recognised Malbec region in the world, with vineyards over 100 years old - a source of the finest and most complex Malbec the world has to offer. Mendoza's climate is characterized by being arid, rainfall is scarce, with an average annual rainfall of 200mm. Temperatures have a significant daily oscillation which favours the development of the ripeness of the grape.

Vinification Details
Malbec grapes are hand-selected, destemmed and crushed. Natural malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 26˚C for 21-23 days. The wine is then aged for 12 months - 96% in French oak barrels & 4% in French oak foudres. It is further aged in the bottle for 12 months.

A nice rich Malbec, but not particularly memorable - save for the intensely dry mouth and unrelenting headache which followed the next morning.

Undrinkable

Not worth wasting even a fiver in this wine let alone £13 plus. Very disappointed.

Gorgeous!

This is a very soft, smooth velvety wine. We didnt finish it in one go so had half a bottle left over for the next day. On first pouring on the second day it was very acidic, however given time to breath and poured with an aerator it returned to its soft, beautiful, velvety state. We bought it on offer but Im not sure we would pay full price for it.

The nicest wine

I’m no wine expert I enjoy a good red and this is by far the best Iv had. We bought it on offer which was a bonus but at £16 I still would pay that for it.
