Storage
Keep refrigerated 0°C to +5°C. Once opened, use immediately. Do not exceed the Use By date. Suitable for freezing. Freeze on or before Use By date. Use within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly before cooking and consume on day of defrosting. Do not refreeze.
Preparation and Usage
Remove all packaging. Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw meat. Keep raw meat separate from cooked foods. Pan Fry: High heat Rare 2-3 mins Medium: 3-6 mins Allow the steak to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before cooking. Preheat pan on high. Lightly oil and season steak. Place into dry pan. Turn halfway through cooking. Rare 2-3 mins. Medium: 3-6 mins. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving. All appliances vary. These are guidelines only. Ensure the product is piping hot before serving. Do not reheat.

This product has been specially vacuum sealed to ensure freshness and eating quality. When the pack is opened you may notice the colour brightening and a faint aroma naturally occuring with this technology will quickly disappear.
One steak was fine but the other was, by far, the WORST steak I ever had the misfortune to receive… 300g in the bin, 100g just about edible. The butcher must have had a very bad day! Thick tough gristle and sinew throughout, extremely disappointing. At £18 per Kg it’s not good enough. Steaks should be consistently good and quality controlled.
Bought these to make a bourguignon - dont like the ready cubed beef as the pieces are too small. Cut into 2 pieces, this made a delicious stew and was very tender after long cooking. Well butchered and very little waste.
