Timing could be important
Tried this one evening and thought it was absolutely horrible. It seemed to have a very chemical coconut like taste. On reflection, I would say it is a nice gin for a summer afternoon or a very hot evening in the garden. Use plenty of ice and maybe some mint leaves. It would also probably make a nice basis for a cocktail. As an evening G&T indoors, I think it is too sweet and too artificial.
sweet juicy gin
I dont usually like anything mango flavoured or indeed fruit/flavoured gins but I will make an exception for this little delight. I was given a g&t made with this on my birthday and immediately wanted to own a bottle of this tangy gin. The lime balances out the sweet peppery mango flavour and makes it rather delicious and summery. Very moreish and very very quaffable. Just add standard tonic, lots of ice and possibly some mint and youre sorted. Not one Id have bought but now Ive tasted it I definitely want more.
