Preparation and Usage

We love clementines as these pocket-sized wonders are smaller and sweeter than their close cousin the noble orange. Better than that, even the most hamfisted individual will find them a joy to peel. Our clementines are sweet and wonderful eaten raw or tossed into salads or squished into juices alongside other alluring ingredients like apples, lemon, berries, carrots, basil and mint. They add a sassy, citrusy sweetness to baked goods, and are especially outstanding with chocolate! Besides using them in sweet dishes or drinks, try using them in savoury dishes. Clementines help to cut through the richness of fatty meats like duck or pork– try tossing clementine segments with fresh greens for a side salad with rich meats. As their skins are organic and unwaxed, you can also make use of their fragrant zest as part of any sweet and savoury preparations.

Huge size and Tangy!

This week the Clementines are quite big and they're a perfect mix of tangy and sweet. The quality, taste and size is inconsistent but this weeks it's a fab bunch!

Very seasonal - no consistency

Sometimes these are absolutely perfect. Beautiful juicy organic oranges with incredible flavour. Other times they are very large (3 to bag), hard to peel, and very dry. I wish Ocado would only sell them when they are in season and at their perfect quality.

Awful Quality

Where to begin... Sent as a replacement for M&S Tangerines which apparently are no longer stocked! Only 4 in a pack the size of small oranges, 3 of which were black, mouldy and split! Does nobody at Ocado check to see of they are fit for purpose before sending them out to customers???

Quite big for a clementine but juicy

I got these in a flash sale, the bag only had 4 in it as they were more orange sized. For 40p each they werent too bad, very juicy but hard to peel and segment. A lot of the juice ended up ok the bench. They were sweet. Id consider buying them again.

Not sure if we had a dodgy batch but they were just impossible to peel.

Sweet and juicy

Found these sweet and juicy, lovely flavour, though as mentioned by others current batch a bit harder to peel than some, will still repurchase though as they taste great.
