History
With true family heritage at every turn, [yellow tail] was created by and still owned by the sixth generation of the Casella family, who have a family philosophy "to make great tasting, consistent wine that everyone can enjoy”. Indeed, our [yellow tail] wine is still lovingly made at their family home town in South East Australia, where the Casella's old family home continues to stand proudly in the heart of the modern winery.

Very good

This chardonnay is very good value for money. I can taste vanilla and slightly spicy undertones. But mainly it is really easy to drink the whole bottle to oneself on a Friday evening.

I agree with previous review sweet and acidic, not a Chardonnay

Sweet and acidic

This is not how a good chardonnay should taste especially one that claims to be oaked! There is none of the buttery creaminess of an oaked chardonnay. This tastes a like a bad Pino grigio! Very Acidic but a sweet after taste! Never again! Spend a bit more for quality!

Favourite Every Day Wine

Chardonnay is my wine of choice and this is one of my favourites. Quite similar to Wolfblass.
