Not as good as other varieties
I expected a fish with a lighter batter but this was just the same as a standard battered portion of pollock. Expensive for the amount of fish. Will not be buying again.
Just the right size
So many fish portions are big, these are perfect. Tasty and not too much batter. I only but them when offer, too expensive, but lovely all the same.
where is the fish?
More than half of this product is batter. Poor value for money.
size matters
The fish and batter was lovely, no problem. Marked down because the box is misleading. The contents were a lot smaller than the box both height and width. Bit disappointing when opening!
lovely fish.
Im not sure I understand the negative reviews I found this fish to be lovely and fresh tasting. The tempura coating is crispy but the fish inside soft and fluffy. I will re-order for sure.
Buy Youngs Tempura Basa instead
This is just about OK. Main dislike is that the fish content is only 58% rest is batter etc. Not anywhere near as good as Youngs Gastro Tempura Basa fillets 73% fish and 310g pack instead of 270g.
