I dont get it !!! ?

After reading the rave reviews and with the hefty price tag for a jar of spices, I bit the bullet and purchased a jar. I was very disappointed and it did not make the chilli I make taste any superior whatsoever! Very underwhelmed and am beginning to wonder who actually leaves these amazing reviews for products that are pricey and just dont warrant such rave reviews.

very little flavour

There is a limited background heat but very very little added to any dish. Massively overpriced given lack of heat/taste

Lovely and fruity

A really fruity light chilli, adds a subtleness to your dishes. I star deducted as it is very expensive even when on offer

Delicious and smokey

I made chilli butter to have with prawns and they were really tasty. The smokey flavour is just right, subtle and delicious. It was expensive, but it is a premium product.

Great addition to spice drawer

Great combination of heat and smokiness. Versatile addition to lots of dishes requiring heat.

Well balanced

Love the balance of smokey rich flavour and gentle heat. I don't usually like very hot food so I prefer chillies that act more as a flavour enhancer, like this. Gorgeous glass jar packaging, just wish it was a bit cheaper but it's a special magic ingredient so I don't mind.
