excellent
This is exceedingly good and packs a good spicy punch. Recommend- it us expensive but compared to others, worth the spend
Gorgeous
I first enjoyed zaatar on a simple labneh dip, prepared by a Persian friend. For years afterwards I tried to recreate it… and failed. It’s all in the zaatar. You need to find the real thing and not some weird, fake, miserably poor copy. This zaatar by Zest & Zing is it! It’s by far the best! So glad it exists.
Unacceptable price
This price is outrageous. I’m happy to pay for top quality, but this is unacceptable.
seven quid for a tablespoon of herb!
For just over a tablespoon of an unknown herb this is a ridiculous price! Zaatar is basically made with dried marjoram and sumac or variation of. Notice they dont mention the herb they use on the bottle! Zaytoun zaatar is half the price for 80g and tastes great, authentic and lasts.
outrageous
Yes, zaatar is delicious. Its a tasty herb mix. Thats not unique to this outrageously overpriced variety. Sometimes I kick myself for having morals and not conning people by buying huge bags of something nice and decanting it into pretty little jars. I suppose its not as bad as dealing in arms. But really. If you like this, great! But look elsewhere where you can pay the same price for half a kilo of the stuff.
Great, but expensive
love this, difficult to find another brand off the shelf that has similar zing and freshness, but it is pricy.
