Tokbokki sauce (120 g), rice cake (170 g), fish cake (50 g), water (160 ml). Add toppings: onion, leek, cabbage, boiled eggs, noodles according to preference.
1 Prepare fish cakes, leeks, cabbage, etc. and cut into bite-sized pieces.
2 Put water, tokbokki sauce, rice cakes and fish cakes in a pot. Boil for about 2 minutes until the rice cakes are tender.
3 To make the dish more appetizing, add prepared toppings.
It is recommended to add 150-200 ml of water if cooking with noodles.

quite nice
It conveys the adequate amount of spiciness and sweetness just like the authentic Korean ddeokbokki sauce. But of course, you still need to use proper anchovy based stock for the authentic flavor.
