This pesto by Tastemade is ideal for using up all those leftover herb stems.

  • 50g stems of mixed soft herbs (mint, parsley, basil, dill and coriander work well)
  • 50ml olive oil
  • 25ml pine nuts
  • 25g parmesan
  • 1 garlic clove, sliced
  • ¼ lemon, juiced
  • ½ salt


Step 1

In a food processor blitz together all the ingredients until smooth, then store in a sealed container in the fridge. Use in dips, pastas, sauces, or even freeze for later.
