Make your own delicious edamame snack pot  – this budget-friendly recipe uses frozen beans to cut the cost, and is super quick to cook from scratch. Simply seasoned with chilli flakes, garlic, sea salt and lime, try these in your lunchbox or as a healthy afternoon pick-me-up.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 250g frozen edamame, thawed and patted dry
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
  • 3 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 squeeze lime (optional)

Method

Step 1

Heat a large pan over a medium-high heat. Pour in the olive oil and, once hot, add the edamame, chilli flakes and garlic.

Step 2

Sauté, tossing often, until the edamame start to catch a little and the garlic is golden, about 5 mins.

Step 3

Sprinkle over some flaky sea salt and serve with a squeeze of lime.
